The Story: Professor Anthony Power's was the leader of a secret band of super-patriots, which his son was a member of. Somehow his son was injured and became mentally unstable. Professor Power called in Charles Xavier to help restore his son's sanity, but Prof. X refused to for some unexplained reason. Something about he'd do more damage then good. Power is so angry he makes a deal with Mentallo to kill Xavier, but his son becomes caught in the cross fire, turning him into a vegetable (All happened in MTU # 118). Professor Power uses his super-patriot technology to enhance his sons body with a super exoskeleton (a lot like Iron Man's, but fused to the body). Power than transfer's his own conscious into his son's body. If this isn't weird I don't know what is. Power seeking revenge decides to go after the X-men, starting with the original roster. Power's first X-man target is Beast who's living with his girlfriend in New York City. Beast at the time is having dinner with his parent's for the first time after he'd turned blue and furry, and his mom is not taking it well (I believe her exact words are "Don't touch me you disgusting freak"). Professor Power jumps Beast from an alley while Beast is running after his mom. Peter Parker is helping his aunt move into a retirement home and sees the fracas (yes, it's a word). Spider-Man and Beast are no where near a match for Power. Just before Power is about to drop a steam shovel on Beast, an empassioned plea from his mother makes Professor Power realize punishing Xavier's children isn't right, it's Xavier who need's to be punished. So after declaring he'll be back he flies away, and Beast and his mother live happily ever after.

The Grade: B+, While Professor Power is a real lame villain, the relationship between Beast and his folks is the real story.
