The Story:
Spider-Man is coming home from a from an assignment for the Bugle, when he see's a woman being attacked in the airport parking lot. He fights off the bad guy's and see's this woman change into some sort of super-hero getup, and she steals the bad guys' flying car. Once he catches up to her to find out what just happened, this woman tells him he just fought off some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. She than proceeds to jumps out of the flying car leaving him to crash it into the water. Spidey runs to the nearest S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters (every neighborhood should have one), and tell them what happened. Local director Delandan tell's Spidey that this woman call's herself the Mockingbird, and she's been raiding S.H.I.E.L.D. bases. Spider-Man is convinced to help Delandan and set a trap with a Nick Fury robot. Spidey and Mockingbird fight briefly, Spidey traps her and the Mockingbird sings (ha ha, lame pun). Mockingbird tells him she has evidence of corruption inside of S.H.I.E.L.D. and she needs to show Fury. Delandan then jumps from the shadows wearing some kind of power glove and attacks Mockingbird and Spider-Man. They all fight and Delandan is about to shoot Mockingbird when the real Nick Fury posing as an android, comes out of the shadows and shoots the gun out of Delandan's hand. But, as soon as Mockingbird can run over to Nick Fury to thank him, a bunch of S.H.I.E.L.D. goons rush in and shoot her a lot, the end.
The Grade:
B, Solid story, that does a good job of introducing Mockingbird
