The Story: Tom Defalco blows. That's about all you need to know about this issue. He obviously doesn't know anything about Spider-Man. The first thing Spidey does when he meets Machine Man is attack him. His rational, "well they say he's bad on TV". They say you're bad on TV too you idiot! Spidey does some very uncharacteristically dumb things this issue. Machine Man comes out smelling like a rose, and the partnership between Sandman and Baron Brimstone, is stupid, and forced.

The Grade: D+, It gets the plus simply cause Machine Man is in it.
